The Steelseries Siberia V2 Review

I have recently bought the Steelseries Siberia V2 Headset for a super marked down price. RRP is roughly around RM 369, i bought mine for RM 320 from LYN forum. =) What a steal ! After a few testing rounds, i have decided to review this amazing headset.

Basically, this headset is powered by a 50mm driver unit which process a full sound effect for gamers who likes more details in their games ( FPS Games). This Siberia spots a 'pull out' microphone instead of a separate one like the V1 which you need to attach to your clothing in order to use the mic while doing your stuff.

This headset is also rich in terms of sound quality. Much to my surprise, there is an average amount of Bass packed inside this nifty gadget. Usually gaming headsets focus more on Trebles instead of Bass but this one is an all rounder.

Moreover, it feels great while being stuck to your head as it is pretty lightweight hence you actually don't recall wearing it. Not to mention that this headset is also detachable? You can unscrew it into small portions and take it along if you are traveling alot.

However, the greatest downfall of this headset is the lack of Microphone volume control. As i have used the Steelseries 4H before which comes with a Microphone Volume controller, this Siberia however does not come with that. The Mute button for the Mic is feels pretty cheap and it seems like it can break anytime.

Easy on the eye, beautifully constructed with 'futuristic design'
2m long extension cable for both 3.5mm and microphone jack
Good sound effect and perfect bass level
Gold Pleated jacks.

Cons :

Costly ._.
Plastic body with a cheap feeling mute button
Small Earcups which leads to painful ears after long usage. It's XL Sized btw .
Short original 3.5mm jack and microphone jack. 1m only.

Overall rating : 7/10

Good headset for gamers. One of the best selling and costliest ones too. Buy only if you are a serious gamer and Steelseries Fan.

Recently bought Avenged Sevenfold's latest work , Nightmare from Rock Corner. I actually downloaded the album 3 days before the official release but decided to buy one for myself because it's A7X man! :)

Matt's vocals shines throughout the album with more melodic tunes can be heard in this album , a far contrast to 'Waking The Fallen' which I think is much 'darker' compared to this one. Entertaining and good replay value. =)

Okay lately Telekom Malaysia (TM) is pissing me off. I am paying RM 88 per month for 1mbps package and I am not getting a consistent speed during 'peak' hours which I wonder why am I paying for something that is not worth paying for? This is my Speed during peak hours, Tuesday 10th August 2010, 7.44pm and 9.01 pm. *Taken off LYN forum for convenience* Seriously, with this speed, downloading songs, movies and playing online games is a living hell to all if everyone is suffering the same fate as I do. TM, Buck up before you start losing your customers.

Another semester in Taylors just ended. Actually this semester break is rather weird because is during the off peak season when everyone is studying or having classes while my course and TBF people are having their sem breaks now.

FIFA World Cup 2010

After today, the world will be back to normal. A break from football fever after a long month of heart pumping and action packed World Cup action.

Noticed how countries like Brazil, Portugal, France and England actually went out during the early stages of this year's competition. Too much pressure perhaps? However, the most disappointing team in the tournament is France. Finished last in their group and bowed out in the group stage. What a disgrace for a huge nation that is influenced by football most of the time.

Tonight will be the epic crunch finale of the FIFA World Cup 2010. Spain versus Netherlands. Since i am a huge fan of The La Furia Roja (The Red Fury) , I will root for my team until the final whistle. I noticed something is actually missing from the Spanish side during the entire WC, the misfiring forwards of Fernando Torres and Pedro. Only David Villa of Barcelona FC is the one banging in the goods, but overall, the flair of this team is still perfect. Passing with perfection, both full backs of Sergio Ramos and Capdevilla bursting forward and so on. I love this team! =)

A Mice Tale

Finally bought a new computer mouse after hesitating for 2 months. This new mouse is my second gaming mouse of the year. The previous one was the Razer Krait which was a pretty decent and basic mouse with 1600dpi sensor. The latest addition, the Razer Abyssus Mirror Special Edition.

Basically the Abyssus comes in 2 different versions. One is the rubber type, the normal Abyssus while the latest one which is the Mirror Special Edition is made up of High gloss plastic finish. Pretty stuff actually, which convinced me to buy it. 3500 dpi sensor with 3G Infrared. Perfect for my gaming needs , but i need to get used to the high dpi. Currently struggling with it actually :/

Anyway, it's the World Cup season again. I'm still supporting Spain! Goodbye Italy and England. Better luck next time =)

Good news to all Avenged Sevenfold fans out there. The band will be releasing their latest album, 'Nightmare' on the 27th of July 2010. Their first single, 'Nightmare' will be released on the 18th of May 2010.

Mike Portnoy of Dream Theater is the man behind the drums, whom was a favorite of the late 'The Rev' who passed away on the 28th of December 2009. Mike also toured with the band for their tour of 2010 in US.

29th April 2010, the official premier of the most anticipated Hong Kong film of the year, Ip Man 2 ( The sequel of the first movie, Ip Man). Watched this in THX too =)

The movie goes like this, after his victory over the Japanese General in Foshan, Ip Man (Donnie Yen) moves to Hong Kong. He sets up a martial arts school to teach Wing Chun. Here, he is challenged by other kung fu masters, including Master Hung (Sammo Hung) who masters in Hung Quan. MasterHung and Ip Man draw a tie in their challenge and the latter is adored as a recognized master in Hong Kong.

Meanwhile, Twister, the powerful but cruel boxer champion who despised Chinese kung fu destroyed the fruit market and harassed the kung fu institutes. Twister, who also resulted in Sifu Hung’s death, then challenged the Chinese kung fu masters for a public combat. Ip was filled with grief and indignation and he decided to take up the challenge. He swore to claim back the dignity of Chinese kung fu and the Chinese people.

Basically the movie theme is about restoring dignity and one should not claim that their culture is always the best because there are many cultures in the world and one should respect other cultures too.

All in all, the movie is great. *double thumbs up*

Trivium at their very best! 2 years on and still rocking inside my head. A must get!

Sunway Pyramid was chosen as the venue for our LowYat.Net (LYN) Sudden Attack (SA) team gathering. The motive of this gathering is to unite our squad members and working up a strategy for future tourneys and tournaments in an informal way. We decided to meet at McDonalds due to our tight budget as some complained that they need to save money and bla bla. Some came all the way from Singapore, Penang and Taipan. Hardcore!

I arrived around 7pm and waited for them outside , here's the hint. I've never met any of them before nor recognize any of their faces too except for some, on Facebook. It was awkward at first but I managed to pull it though. Everything went well and everyone had a great night. Our main joker of the day was Ah Cheng! He was crappy, hilarious and bald?

As we were busy crapping through the night, Victor came with a bunch of 'goodies' for us. Like Santa Claus from Asiasoft ( a company that created Sudden Attack SEA). Had a little prize giving ceremony. Finally claimed my SA mousepad from the last tourney which my team finished 3rd place. Victor gave out HeadShot Themed T-Shirts for the veterans, Caps and Note Book for the Rookies including me. He even wrote a little note on my notebook , encouraging me to play harder during my gaming session. Thanks Silverbolt =)

As the night flows by, a special appearance by our leader aka Boss Gila, Matthew Soo and Summer Khoo. And Boss Gila was shorter then I expect him to be, and his hair... *speechless* But it was great to finally meet him in person at last.

All in All, this night was definitely memorable. Thank you all for attending. And yes Hazim, you're special 'strip' show which lasted wearing the shirt wrongly for 3 times in front of the whole Mcd crowd was definitely the best !

Broken Hearts Parade

What happened 3 months ago is now a distant memory which was disposed off inside the 'Get Out Of My Life' bin. You know who you are, don't worry, I am no longer heartbroken nor hold any grudges against you. You are now an ordinary classmate to me.

At times I wondered how time actually flies by, like a lightning just flashed through my backyard. Four weeks ago, I met this girl whom I've met via a mutual friend. This is why i love the cyberworld! It can do wonders.

In 4 weeks, I have noticed the changes in me. I've become someone else which at times, I barely know myself anymore. You have brought in mass changes into me and I thank you for that. But at times, I just feel that i am fighting a one-man war. Someone else is on your mind? I don't know but I wish you all the best. :) But still, you're still in my heart.

Class will resume as usual on Monday. First class of Semester 2, Business Maths. Great! And it starts at 8am. Pity though, I wont be able to meet up with my 1.1 friends , their class starts at 2. Fantastic. But I am anxiously awaiting for college life to resume to it's full force. Til then! =)

Holiday season is starting to sizzle out. Bored til death.

I have yet to do something productive in this semester break. I feel really useless as my daily routine would be, waking up ==> Read a book ==> Lunch ==> Reading the papers==> Nap ==> Television==> Dinner==> Hog the PC for hours. Such a pathetic life.

Just made a new Identification Card @ the government Office in Petaling Jaya. Surprised really by the speed of the people working there, including the one taking the photographs because they usually take horrible pictures, sometimes your face will either look fat, round, or whichever term you can label it as. But really, the picture they took today was alright. =)

This weekend, my family and I will be 'cleaning' and 'praying' to our grandparents grave in Kuala Lumpur and Kota Kubu Baru. That means i need to wake up during the wee hours on weekend. But i like going back to my dad's hometown which is located @ Kota Kubu Baru (KKB) mainly because it is a 'cowboy ' town, small, deserted but the food they serve there is the best and cheapest in Selangor. I think :/ RM2.80 for a bowl of Curry Mee? Where on earth can you find that huh? With cuttlefish and stuff. Awesome stuff.

And yes, Kudos to Park Ji-Sung for shoving Rafa Benitez and his Liverfool blokes mouth. Once again, Manchester United will rule England once more! =)

Turning 18 and Legal

Never realized turning 18 would be a grand one, but I celebrated in a low profile dinner with my family which I always do every year. Feeling old already! =D

For the past few days, I am stuck at home rotting. Semester break officially started today for 2 weeks and I am seriously bored as I really missed my friends in college, especially Siah Boon Kiat and Monica. Really good friends of mine, loyal, trustworthy, and most of all, they respect me as much as i respected them. Such friends are hard to find. Thank you guys.

Semester break is finally here! End of Semester 1!

Immediately after my last paper, Malaysian Studies, Siah Boon Kiat, Monica, Giin Leong,Arshard , Chun Teik andI took a cab from our campus to Sunway Pyramid. Our initial plan was to watch Alice in Wonderland in 3D. To our disappointment, the queue was unacceptable, it queue was as long as a curvy snake and the tickets were limited. So we walked around and talked about our times in college etc. Had fun thou.

18th March 2010

Today was the big one. 6 of us ( Hannah, ChunTeik, Nikki, Siah and Monica) went to Mid Valley. The guys went there by KTM which was packed and we had to stand the entire journey. Sandwiched! But made it there on time.

We watched Alice in Wonderland while Hannah and Nikki watched The Lovely Bones. Alice in Wonderland (AIW) was a great and entertaining movie. The visual and graphic effects were superb. Full marks to Tim Burton for that! Although the storyline did not attract me much, it was the effect that caught my attention. And did I mention that we sat at the second row from the screen? :/

Lunch was the best! Hannah suggested TGIF in The Gardens. So the we went inside and booked a table for 6 which the 3 girls we 'looking' for the washroom. It took quite awhile thou. As Siahand I were surfing the menu, the enormous price tag struck us. I am on a limited budget and therefore paying 50 bucks for lunch is quite sinful. So one by one, we left TGIF. Howembarrassing! Soon we headed over to Madam Kwan, Mid Valley for lunch which the girls are lost in god knows where.

After lunch, someone brought a cake over to our table. I was curious and suddenly i saw my name on it. :/ Shell shocked really. Thank you guys for the cake and Siah, Thanks for buying lunch. You guys are the best! :)

*ps : Celebrated 4 days earlier because Siah will be leaving for Sabah tomorrow morning.

My 160th blog post! Coming after my one week absence from blogging.

SPM results is coming out in exactly 1 day time. D-day has finally arrived? I am shaking nervously and i have a bad feeling about this.

My semester will officially end this friday, 12th of March 2010. Next Monday until Wednesday will be my final-semester examinations. Final Oral Presentation(group) this friday. What a hectic time period now and thank god it is only a week left.

Now I do not look forward to the second semester before it even started. My good friend, Monica will most probably be leaving after this semester. And also my friends, Hannah and her best friend, Boon Man. Well this sucks because i am really close to them and suddenly everyone just leaves. FML.

A Shattered Fortress

Yesterday my cousins and I crashed over at my aunt's Holiday Condo @ Mont.Kiara for a swim and dinner. Had lots of fun especially when we started gambling for 2 hours and I won quite a large sum of money which I spent almost everything today by paying for the futsal court rental/drinks/lunch and drinks again.

For the next 3 weeks, my schedule will be jam-packed. I am assigned to 3 presentations in 2 weeks and the 3rd week will be my final examinations for this semester and after that, HOLIDAY! I figured that this semester is like a intensive crash course. The never ending assignments, homework and exams in 7 weeks is such a killer. But meeting up with my friends is the sweetest part of all. I do love my college mates as they are very down to earth and sociable. NICE...

League Cup 2010 final tomorrow night. This match will be my first live football match in 2 months? It's been awhile since i last watched soccer on the tube due to my hectic schedule.

Yesterday, Michael , Chun Teik and I had a meeting at Starbucks, SS15 for our Malaysian Studies Assignment. We took a couple of photo's for our presentation slide and we are planning to crop our heads and place it against model's body. *Micheal's idea*

College is starting tomorrow! Hell yes!

The weather has been really humid lately and this really pissed me off. My upper lips are cracking and it is very annoying as it causes certain level of unbearable pain. Now I wished that it will rain more often to 'cool' the air down. Imagine sweating like a water fountain really sucks!

One more assignment to do. Research about Bribery. Interesting topic huh? Thanks to Michael. Planned to Google for some stats and crap all the way. Hopefully i can fulfill the 3 pages requirements.

Won some money by gambling with my cousins. Will spend them on ice-creams. Hell yeah!

Chinese New Year holiday is about to end. I was super impatient for it to end because I missed my friends in College and also the amazing atmosphere in the campus. Everyone in the campus seems nice and friendly which is an interesting sight everyday.

This year's CNY is quite dull for me. I don't need to explain this but seriously, all I do everyday is sleep, eat, Gaming, sleep. Such pathetic life huh?

I admit that I am racing against time to complete 2 assignments which are due next week. And i am far from done which I am starting to worry , but everything is best to leave til the last minute. :)

Next week is the Carling Cup final between ManYoo and Aston Villa. How sweet if my dad had subscribe to Astro B.yond package which I can watch it in HighDefinition (HD). Imagine watching a soccer match in HD! Awesome! My bets are on Rooney to bring back the title we last won 2 years ago. :D Go United!

Been meeting up with my cousins alot lately this Chinese New Year. So far, I find this CNY quite relaxed as I am not celebrating this year but the weather is the spoiler. Went shopping twice in one week and the best part was, the shopping complexes was EMPTY until lunch time.

Finally bought a sweater, Diadora one. At least I dont need to shiver during lectures and tuitorials already. Weee :D

The much anticipated Chinese New Year break is finally here!
I have finally completed my mid-semester test which was throughout the past 3 days. 3 main subjects (English, Accounting and Malaysian Studies) spread over 3 days which means 1 paper per day. Today also marks the 1 week holiday which I will not see my friends for a week which I am quite upset as most of them are going back to their hometown while I don't have a hometown plus, I am not celebrating Chinese New Year this year. Oh well.

Had my very first driving lesson today. And I was a fantastic yet frustrating outing for me. I am not used to driving a manual car especially a Perodua Kancil. And I noticed how sensitive the clutch is as a slight weight on your feet and change the entire situation. My engine died countless times today and I think Mr.Chua(instructor) was quite pissed. Oh well, what do you expect ? A noob driver :) But hey, I drove about 5km today with my speed around 60km/h. Was super fun when you drive fast. :) But I got a stick for that. -.-

I admit I am an addict because I need to play this game everyday to release my stress level and I spend almost RM 50 bucks or so on it by buying prepaid cards a.k.a @cash for guns(good ones). Training hard to participate in this year's Sudden Attack Grand Championship 2010 with my squad , -LYN- ( Low Yat. Net).

One week without Siah Boon!, Rose, Chun Teik, Hannah and my fellow TBF friends = lost soul.
But the person i missed the most is my BFF, Elaine Kok Sui Lyn! I have not seen her yet this year, which is quite depressing as we always plan an outing but always fall into deaf ears. Cannot blame Syahir or Elaine as we all have busy schedules. But I'll make sure I meet up with them soon. :)

A very busy week ahead for me. I am the first person to present my English Presentation for Oral Presentation tomorrow and i am nervous. But i'll get over it soon i hope. I don't really like talking in front of countless eye balls but i think im used to it thanks to Akmal who always make me do speeches during Taekwondo classes :/

The following week will be my Mid-Semester Test. For 3 days only and then it's over. I cannot wait for next wednesday when I can meet my good mates again, Elaine and Syahir. I miss them as much as I missed my ex-classmates. Til then :)

Comment : Very entertaining and surplus my expectations. Alesana's work rate has improved since On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax and I beg to differ that this album is the best so far. What a way to start the new year? This is a must get for all fans and Screamo fans. :)

I was looking forward to Saosin's concert in Bukit Jalil on February 1st 2010 since last year as I am a big fan of them. Sorry. Haven't been blogging as much lately. Due to college's workload and hectic schedule, my free time is very limited/restricted.

College life has been great for the time being. Managed to make a couple of new friends, some older, some younger. The people here are amazing and it's a really good exposure because you'll learn how to expose yourself to the working world, meet new people, improve on your language skills and your presentation skills.

Second week of college and I have 2 assignments on standby. One is due in two weeks and the other by march. My Mid-Semester Exams will be on the second week of February. Fast huh? My Final-Semester test will be on the second week of March. One short semester.

So since this is a short semester, I have only 3 subjects inclusive of Malaysian Studies. My everyday schedule will be repeated over and over again for the entire week. Tutorials and then Lectures. :/

I'm preparing a presentation speech. 4 minutes long in front of the whole lecture theater. Thanks a lot!

Day 2 of college life. One word, AMAZING!

College started yesterday and this week is Orientation Week. Plenty of programs organized by Taylor's board and yes our lectures starts this week too. I am doing a Foundation in Business (TBF) and i think around 70% of the population in TBF are Chinese. So basically there are a lot of different chinese dialects can be heard during lectures.

I've already made a couple of friends. One of them is a Half British and Chinese blood. Her dad is a British while her mother is a local Chinese. Her name is Monica, she a nice and easy going person. Met a Japanese guy called Hishamoto or something. Sorry i cannot remember your name :/

It is really amazing how you can actually meet different cultures and different races of people here. For me, I've met a Chinese National guy, A Japanese and An African. Much to my surprise, The Lakeside Campus doesn't have any Subang Utama student other then Carmen and I. Well most of them chose A-Levels or South Australian Metriculation.

First Accounting Lecture of the year, our lecturer is called Mr.Fan. Well, I pity him thou. He seems to talking to himself all the time because everytime he ask a questions, all you can here is echo. But seriously, the lecture was BORING! I had a hard time translating from Bahasa Malaysia which I learned during High School to English. And the things Mr. Fan is teaching, is what i've learned during Form 4. Another Revision. Heh.

At the moment, I am loving college life. No boundaries, Freedom and a whole new way to study. But one thing that irks me , paying for my own lunch during lunch break. PPFFT! It's at least RM5 for every meal in the cafeteria. And take note : Lakeside Campus doesn't have any coffeeshops nor Cafe nearby!

Waiting anxiously for Alesana's latest work called The Emptiness. Have been a fan of them since i heard the song, Apology. Really talented bunch. 26th January is the date!

A family holiday at last.
Departed on the 6th of January 2009 until the 9th of January 2009. Dad drove us from Subang Jaya all the way to Penang. The journey by car took almost 5 hours since we've made numerous stops to the Rest Area and Kampar for Breakfast.

Ate from Kuey Theow Soup until Bangkok Mee Goreng(Fried Mee- Indian style). We stayed at the Bayview Beach Resort at Batu Ferringhi which is around 20 minutes away from town via a very winding road.

Basically the journey to Penang was more like a food trip. We ate at least 4-5 meals a day. Picture that! I think i've put on some weight. And I managed to relax by the beach which is er, not as perfect as Langkawi or Pangkor Island but hey, I had a great time.

Today, I finally completed my driving licence 'L' course. I've endured 11 hours of talks/ course and even wasted 8 hours waiting for the Government Server to finally get up and running which it didn't. I am entitled to hold an 'L' licence which I will receive in 2 weeks or so. Need time to process. How inefficient eh? :p

College life begins on Monday. I can't wait.

According to the OC Register, Sullivan's body was discovered by firefighters who were called to his house around 1 p.m. local time on Dec. 28. According to Huntington Beach police Lt. John Domingo commented that it appeared the 28-year-old drummer died of natural causes.

An Evening In Paris

Paris. The theme for my school’s prom last night. It was held in the Victorian Ballroom in Holiday Villa. I didn’t want to go alone, so I went over to Syahir’s house and we waited for my date, Carmen, to pick us up.

The venue wasn’t really good as it was very, very small. Yet they managed to fit only 150+ people according to a friend. There wasn’t enough tables for other late comers. Poor chaps.

The organizers were lousy and damn i gotta say, the emcee sucks too. Zarul was basically making lame jokes which wasn’t funny at all. But the performance was alright. The best part of the night was everyone get to see each other again after such a long period. It was really great to see my old friends again such as Kevin, Shane and a couple more.

Took loads of pictures until my eyes sting-ed so badly. Effects from camera’s flash. Gosh it really hurts.

I had a good time yesterday and hopefully next year, my college’s prom will be better :) A night to remember really.

No. 10: Encik Yaziz

Encik Yaziz was one of a kind teacher that you can ever find in school. He was my Bahasa Malaysia teacher in form 1. I remember the first time he entered my class, 1 Beta, his facial expressions is a classic one. Dopey eyes, saggy cheeks and never grateful expression on his face. Everyday during his lessons, he'll order us to read from the text book while he sits on his chair comfortably and starts digging/picking his nose and flick it after that. GROSS! He even sleep while invigilating our class during our test. Pft.

No.9 : Hide and Seek with the Discipline Teachers

I would be lying if i said i was a good kid in high school. Back in the days( 2-3 years ago) , I will always skip classes that i find boring especially during Chinese and History Classes. Then, our so called 'Class Rep' will report this to the Discipline Teachers and they'll hunt us down. So me and a couple of friends will play hide and seek with them. Hey! It was fun! :D And no, I was never caught.

No.8 :Watching Gang Fights

Gangsterism. A common word in most schools here. Yeah, there's 3 different races of gangs such as The Chinese, Malays and the Indians. But usually the Indians are the strongest. I don't know why do they love fighting so much but seriously, You might find them entertaining when they actually fight over small reasons. Well, I watched most of them too. Thank god i wasn't involved in any.

No.7 : Futsal In 4 Theta Classroom

2008, My new class and home. 4 Theta it is. Our new class was located at the Flora Block while is an isolated classroom with only 4 classes in a row since it's a single story block. And our class is located very very far from the staff room and there's a construction blockage blocking the view from another building too. Yeah and so , me and my classmates will take a 'Takraw' Ball from the school store and play with it in class. And yes, countless windows were broken in the process. Farizzudin was the best, he struck down 3 pieces of window panes at one go. Awesome stuff.

No. 6 : Climbing out of the School Gates/Walls

No i don't run out of school during school hours. I only climbed the walls/gates during 'Spring Cleaning' or if there's any 'Talks/Ceramah' sessions in school. I hate them :D So basically, my school's walls and gates are pretty low and they're quite easy to climb over. And viola, i'm out.

No. 5 : Science Experiments

One of the main reasons why I loved Science so much, The Experiments. We get to mix some solutions and watch how water goes through a distillation process and even getting up-close with Microorganisms. You won't get this in College unless you're doing some science-related subjects otherwise, these are classics! Oh not to mention how we(my class) actually made our teacher so upset until she cried. Sorry :(

No . 4 : Shaking Hands with The Headmaster

Graduation Day. Every student in form 5 will get an honour to go on stage and collect their 'School-leaving Certificate while shaking hands with the HM. God, this was such an honour as i really looked forward to this. I can still picture the grin on my face after that. Pathetic!

No. 3 : 1-3 Beta 2005-2007

This was the noisiest class i've ever been to. Yes we were a bunch of hooligans and uncontrollable monkeys. I guess we've made around 2-3 female teachers cry and they even reported us to the Discipline Teacher and even labelled us as ' Monkeys'. This class is one hell of a joyride. We played cards together, skipped lessons together, laughed and party as one. I will always remember this fond memory.

No. 2 : The Friends

My very first best friend in high school, Kogula Balan. Even though you've changed school 3 years ago, I'll still remember you. Now, Elaine Kok, Chien Pong and Andrew Koay have joined the ranks too. You guys were awesome and thank you very much for sticking with me through our highs and lows. I love you guys very much.

As for Muz, Astrid and Aliff, you guys are my good friends. Even though i may be an ass at times, I am still grateful that you decided to stand by me and supported me along the way. Thank You.

No . 1 Leaving High School

I've never imagine that i would actually say this but, this is true. Leaving high school was one of the happiest day ever apart from being free from Discipline Teachers, Uniforms and stuffs. I know the saddest part of this is losing your friends. But hey, technology has changed our world. We can still communicate with our old buddies through Email, Instant Messengers and Facebook.

Once you leave high school, you're almost a free bird. You are only a few months away from turning 18 years old and this is the best time to start over a new leaf. College here i come!

I finally signed up with a driving agency. This time it's called 'William Diving Agency'. The whole package cost RM790. And i'll be starting my 5 hours of Driving Lecture tomorrow. Bloody!

Watched 2012 with dad today. And gosh, that movie is so bloody long and meaningless. According to the Mayan Calender, the world should come to an end by 21st December 2012. But the movie's showed that some humans are spared and most of them hid inside a so called 'arc' and survived the apocalypse. Pfft, bull! :/

Today was amazing! Andy,Chien Pong and I walked from our house to SS19 to look for a suitable driving agency. We visited Soka and Metro Driving Institution. We gathered as much information as possible as both provided packages ranging from RM 780-1399. Yes Metro provides two packages, One is (Not Guarantee-pass) package which cost RM 840 and the other one which is Guarantee Pass until Probation ) will cost RM 1399. :S What the hell. Soka's package is only RM 780. Hmm considerable. :D

After that Weng Wai joined us and we gathered at Andy's place. For the first time , I actually played the Xbox 360. And gosh, it sucks! And you can play pirated games which are not reliable. Pfft i wanted to play Halo 3 :/ Ended up playing Batman Akham Asylum.

Later around 3pm , we met up with our usual futsal gang. We walked from SS18 to USJ1(Summit). Uone is the place. And yeah, Calson brought alot of people including his brother and his friends. LOL. Played against some 21 years old people. Good experience thou.

Prom is in another 5 days. :D Can't wait.

Taylor's School of Design just dropped a bombshell on me.

Diploma in Graphics and Communication Design for January Intake :

2.5 years with 7 bloody semesters! Continuously! No break during December month. Pathetic?! God this is insane! I'll be a working vampire soon.

Went to PWTC today for the Facon Education Fair in KL. There was like 350 booths. The amazing part was, there were plenty of Japanese, Yes Japanese Universities booth there. And loads of Culinary schools which i wasn't aware of until today. Their food smells great thou. :D

Collected some leaflets and gathered some information about my course and went home. Super crowded weh, everyone was pushing each other.

I remember asking mom if i could do a Degree in English. She was like :' Good Luck! ' . LOL. I could be a poet! HAHAHA. NOT!

After having a heart to heart talk with my parents, I decided to go for Taylor's Business Foundation at Taylor's Business School. I realized how wide is the business field and i can choose from Marketing, Finance, Accounting etc. But i think i'll take Marketing la.

Going back to Lakeside Campus tomorrow and seek a counsellor. Hopefully i can get more information about the Business field. :)

Mom and Dad brought back tons of Chocolates, YES CHOCOLATES from Langkawi! :D I'm in heaven! But i need to watch what i eat for the next 10 days. Prom is in another 10 days and i am kinda excited.

Tomorrow i'll be going to Taylor's Lakeside Campus for their Open Day. I will be attending a talk about 'Design'. I guess i'm gonna pursue my interest in Graphic Design anyway. Then on Sunday, I'll be going to some Education Fair in KL. I have no idea about it until dad mentioned it.

Day 3 of Post SPM has been fantastic. I don't need to worry about waking up early and think of what to study today. I can finally take a break after 11 months of endurance studies. Such torture! But it's all over. Not to mention i'll be looking for a driving school next week. Driving! :D

Mom asked me if buying a camera is necessary for my course, I was like : ' yeah it is!'. Because i guess she didn't want me to waste almost RM3000 on a camera and just throw it aside after that. Don't worry Mom, the camera will be in good hands. I'll be getting it either this weekend or next week. Depending on my schedule. Can't wait!

I've been putting myself into hot soup recently. I don't know if im doing the right thing or wrong thing. I was labelled ' Peanut Brain' by Andrew Koay for making the wrong decision. Oh well, you gotta accept my dumbness. God bless. No one's perfect i guess. But amazingly, sometimes i realized that we should value our friendship because some friends are really your good friends. Like me, I lost a good friend, but we talked it over and settled it in a gentleman's way and so everything went back to normal , except that we're not really as close as we used to be. That's life. Accept it!

SPM is Officially OVER!

I can finally breathe a sight of relieve! The moment we handed up our last paper, Economics 2, Leyysha was (Self) celebrating! It was hilarious!

Immediately after reaching home, i bathed and picked Elaine up from her place. We're meeting Carmen, Syahir and Faiz there. We shopped, talked, laughed, and watched 'Ninja Assassin' which was alright.

The joy of this is describable and I never knew that freedom tasted that good! :D Seriously.

I bought my (Nike)RED shoelace yesterday. It cost me 15bucks! But hey, it's all for good cause. Nike will contribute 100% profits to the World AIDS Organization and some football related thing in Africa. I'm doing a good deed! Hehe

Canon Malaysia have officially dropped their DSLR prices after releasing a new revised price list according to www.photomalaysia.com

So basically the new prices are :

Canon 50D body - RM 3599

Canon 500D with 18-55 kit-RM 2890

*No changes to Canon 1D and 7D yet. :)

I'm still hoping and praying hopefully i can find the 40D in Low Yat next week. And hopefully the new revised price might even be as low as RM2.6k for the Canon 40D ? :D Anything is possible right? But it's an old model. Old is GOLD! :D

Alright i admit i couldn't resist my temptation to blog. Oh well :D Just once , i'll continue next week.

Spm started two weeks back and i just remembered that it's ending next week! It's amazing how time files so fast and how things really changed.

I shall blog about my SPM journey next week. Trying to summarize my post :D

I've finally made a conclusion on which camera i am going to buy soon. After some really long/hard time browsing and researching, i've finally chosen the Nikon D5000. Well, it's the best for it's price range of slightly less then RM 3000 . Initially my first choice was the Canon 40D but since it's an obsolete model it leaves me no choice.

I've already planned out where to buy and when to buy. I told dad about it and he agreed but then, my mother doesn't seem to be happy because i'm buying in this week. Well to be fair, there's only 1 subject left after that. Geeshh! I don't know la, I doubt i'll get it this week.

SPM is almost over. I can finally sense it. Great, back to the books.

“We came off of the road amidst one of the most turbulent times in history. Everything going on around us was overwhelming, frightening, frustrating and confusing. I must confess that it was also very exciting to me. I’m sure you can share my sentiment.

“We have been focused on only one thing: writing and preparing to record what to me is our most personal and epic Avenged Sevenfold album. The reason is the fact that everything happening around us in the entire world might be a once-in-a-lifetime source of inspiration and direction. We have been harnessing every aspect of what makes A7X truly unrelenting and building off of that. I don’t think we sleep too much anymore because of the excitement we feel while writing this album. It's official. This will be my last blog post until the 7th of December excluding the SPM timer one post after this.

There's only 18days or less before the major SPM examinations and i'm screwed! So screwed. I'm still halfway through my 9 subjects only. FML. I need to be discipline! Time to sacrifice all my usual day-dreaming and 'Tweeting' and start replacing them with my study time.

I went to the Puma Warehouse sale with dad yesterday and i finally bought new clothes after months and months of using the same clothes everytime. :D The surprising part is i can find something that fits me perfectly in a warehouse sale. Something really unusual. :)

I told mom about my plans to work part time at Subang Parade once i'm done with my SPM. She was like : ' I don't want to see you working as a cleaner or a waiter! Go work at your aunt's office'. HAHA. She doesn't want her son to work as a waiter. :D How thoughtful. So i guess she wants me to become an apprentice of Tang( my aunt's staff who's a director of the company). She said that i'll learn more about Graphics under him. Wookayyyy anything but getting naggy boss will do. I hate naggy people.

Attack Attack!, who lost their vocalist Nick Barham earlier this week, have released a statement about the split. The band are not in search of a replacement for Barham and synth op Caleb Shomo will take over the screaming vocals. Drummer Andrew Wetzel said, "Why hello boys and girls! Thought we'd throw you all a quick little update about what's currently going on in the AA! lineup. The band and Nick parted ways recently in a mutually agreed non-explosive fashion, which we all believe is the best for both sides. Caleb is going to retire his keys and start screaming in the front of the band. We DO NOT have a new person in our band. Don't worry, our music will still be full of Caleb's programming, keys, and all the good things he concocts. It will just be back-tracked live with the 808 samples and other nonsense on my iPod. Anyways, we're not gonna stop touring, playing shows, and having a generally wonderful time with all of you."

Today, school was pathetic but funny. My class attendance was only 6, three ran off so it leaves Astrid, Jen-Senn and I in class. We wanted to skip Moral class today but i saw my teacher was sitting alone in an empty classroom. I have a slight guilt and decided to enter her class. :)

Oh, I finally made up my mind. I'm going for Prom 09. Fine, i did deny or criticized the Prom and stuff, but hey, i realized that this is my last year and why not just let it all out and have some fun even though the money is coming out from my own pocket?! Its 130 bucks damn it!

It's almost the end of October month already! *hint hint* My d-day is getting closer. I am so relieved the History is on the first and second day of SPM! The subject that i worried the most is Accounts. I don't feel confident of scoring an A for it, if i don't I'm so gonna let Mr.Lee down. :( I'm working my ass everyday and trying papers from other states. I heard this time the questions will be hard! Oh thank you very much!

Time flies real fast!! I remember that around January i was still saying : 'SPM? Chill lah. Still got 11more months! ' Now? Shit! Another 33 days and i'm effing screwed! :( God Help!

I'm having trouble sleeping lately. I was super tired one day and decided to sleep around 10pm and i ended up sleeping at 2am! I can not sleep before 12am anymore. What's wrong with me? :( This sucks!

Couple of people are skipping PROM this year including me. So Matt and Sher Mun came out with an idea to go DSLR Cam Whore outing in KL. HAHA. Sounds like fun! :D Talk about girls who camwhores. :D

My class is one hell of a lazy class. We planned to personalize a class tee-shirt this year since January til today , still no final product. Ishhhh. Then Sarah (Ding) gave me an idea to personalize a jersey. Less hassle and simple :) With numbers and desired name printed behind.
Took down the orders already. About 20 classmates placed their orders. :) So yeahhh

Thursday was the best day ever! :D Why? Because i went out the whole day that's why.
praised me for my work! Started my day as early as 7.30am and i went over to Elaine's place. We're attending Add Math's extra class together with a few friends. And much to my surprise, my teacher Pn. Lim Bee LanWoahhh, you don't see that happen often especially when it comes to Add Maths. And Sendi told me that i scored about 70marks for my maths's paper 2 for trials. Woot :D

Then, around 2.3pm , Me and Muz decided to grab a cup of Bubble tea in SS15 before heading for tuition. :) At night, our family went over to grandparent's place. It was my grandmother's second death anniversary. The Ti-Ratana orphanage home's children came and chant some mantra. We had a good time with the children as some of the are really adorable. Imagine if you grow up with parents? Sad case really.

SPM is getting on my nerves. Seriously. I cannot do anything anymore. :( Other then blogging for a while and tweeting :D haha. Still? two more months and it's over. Tahannnnn!! :(

Mayday Parade's latest album is finally here! :) Best album of the year so far (For my opinion).

I listened to it 3 times already and still loving it.

My top 5 Album for 2009( til 3rd Oct 2009).

1) Anywhere But Here-Mayday Parade

2) Nothing Personal-All Time Low

3) Love Drunk-Boys Like Girls

4) 21st Century Breakdown-Green Day

5) With Love-Craig Owens

Surprisingly, Cobra Starship's Hot Mess didn't make the cut. It was rather disappointing really. Their debut album 'Viva La Cobra!' was way better then the latest one. The tunes just doesn't seem to make it work.

Imagine if your best friend who is having some love/emotional problems always hides something from you? For example avoiding you at times and pretending that nothing happened? And the worst part, he told person S about everything but when i asked, he's answer was 'Nothing'. Pfft. Some friends i have. Best Friends are not meant to last. I prefer to keep 1 best friend compared to 3. My good ol' trusty Andrew Koay. I trust him as my best friend. Since Primary school we both know each other so there's some special bondings. :)

Today started off badly. Had a nice lecture from mum over some small issue and yeahhhh, my mood changed after that. :) I hate getting lectured early in the morning. Pfftttt
And i Bit Torrent uploaded Mayday Parade's Anywhere But Here album already and i was super excited since the album was supposed to be released on the 6th of October. Guess i am 4 days ahead of everybody. While waiting for the album to finish i decided to tweet a little. Much to my surprise, the Torrent file died after downloading 89.99 percent !!! Bloody hell!! Now i need to download again and waittttt :( This sucks.

It's Mooncake Festival today. But my family is not celebrating due to the respect of my grandpa who passed away about a month ago :( Don't think i'll be celebrating next year too. I missed those times when our whole family gathered at my grandparents house and celebrate together. The children will light up candles and lanters around the house area. Now both grandparents are gone :(
I really miss them. *Sigh* Life's like that.

God! SPM is NEXT MONTH! Die Die Die!!!

Okayyyy school holidays are not here yet but i am self declaring em :D It's PMR examination week for the next two weeks so school will be open for the form 3 students only. After the two weeks, if im not mistaken, it's Deepavali holiday. So yeah another couple of days off. More time to study.
School is a real waste of time. Firstly, you wake up at 6.30am and then you enter the class with only 10 or less of you classmates in class. Later, the teacher decided not to teach and end up talking crap the whole period. Stupid. I rather stay at home and sleep til 9am and then study later :)
Off to study again. :( God save meeeeee

All Based on a Storyline

I am going to minimize my internet usage from now on. My SPM/O'Levels test is in another 48 days and i'm not fully prepared yet. So it means i'll be blogging less and try to keep my phone aside while studying as i get distracted easily. :S

It's holiday again :D next week. The form 3's will be sitting for their PMR examinations including my dear cousin Bryan Wong. Good luck :D and all the best.

Mayday Parade's latest album is releasing soon. Of course i'll download it a few days before it releases. :D I don't like the timing of my SPM! It's so late?! It starts on the 18th of November and ends on the 7th of December. 20days of hell.
